Our agile start-up addresses a variety of needs around the world

Urbanomy works in close partnership with EDF R&D and EDF international businesses. This gives us an innovative and scientific positioning as well as access to a pool of experts and a thorough knowledge of the local context. These valuable partners support us in addressing our priority markets: the United Kingdom, Germany and the United Arab Emirates. Here are some of our references

2020 | SALT CROSS GARDEN VILLAGE - OXFORDSHIRE

SUPPORTING LOCAL CARBON NEUTRAL STRATEGY

In January 2017, the UK Government announced that it would contribute funding towards the new Oxfordshire Salt Cross Garden Village alongside 13 other garden villages and 3 garden towns. Garden villages serve a sustainable, cultural, social, economic vision with a strong sense of community. A development partner – Grosvenor Developments Ltd - was appointed on behalf of the landowners to undertake planning activities.

> Working for the Oxfordshire County Council, Urbanomy will deliver expert advice on the future plans for Salt Cross Garden Village for energy and mobility-related decisions with a Net Zero purpose (+2200 residential homes, a new science business park, a primary school to accommodate over 1000 pupils, a health centre/small hospital and a neighbouring park and ride development).

2020 | DIN PROJECT

DIN SPEC : DISTRICT MANAGEMENT

Urbanomy, in partnership with EIFER, contributes to a German standardisation text (DIN SPEC), which provides a framework for the management of the districts of the future. This work supervised by DIN, the German Institute for Standardisation, is being carried out with a consortium of more than twenty various partners, mainly German.
> This text will provide a frame of reference and specifications for all players in charge of developing new districts or regeneration projects, such as property developers and local authorities.
> Through this project, Urbanomy wishes to enable a smart and sustainable management of districts. This is an example of how we can make an impact in Germany to push for a more integrated vision of all key urban aspects (energy, mobility, green spaces, etc.)
