Low carbon strategy
We assist VivaTech in the analysis of its carbon footprint and the implementation of a concrete action plan, for its 2022 edition, from 15 to 18 June. Viva Technology is Europe's number one startup and tech event, welcoming more than 1500 exhibitors from +30 countries. Since 2017, VivaTech has brought together the world's leading business leaders, startups, investors, researchers and thinkers in Paris for a unique experience combining inspiration, networking and a showcase of innovation.
The challenge is to avoid and reduce the event's greenhouse gas emissions as much as possible throughout its life cycle (assembly, operation, dismantling), and to make this ambition a long-term one, by helping the event to comply with the criteria of the ISO 20121 standard (Responsible Management Systems applied to the event industry) for the 2023 edition.
"Through their analysis and evaluation, Urbanomy helped us to understand the carbon impact of Viva Technology and set an ambitious approach to decarbonising the event. I would like to thank the team for their rigorous approach and engagement throughout the process, which enabled them to understand and respond to the specific environmental issues of the events industry". Nicolas Douchement, Chief Operations, Ecosystem and Experience Officer, Viva Technology
