Low carbon strategy
Urbanomy has developed a methodology to assess the requirements for a net zero carbon energy system in new developments, including energy demand, generation, storage and flexibility services.
The project was conducted for Oxfordshire County Council, as part of Project LEO (Local Energy Oxfordshire). The methodology has been developed in a replicable way to benefit for other similar development.
“Achieving net zero carbon is integral to the Council’s vision for a thriving county. Urbanomy will join us to create a new model that will enable a net zero carbon energy system for Salt Cross, one which benefits the new residents and those already living nearby.” says Llewelyn Morgan, Oxfordshire County Council
